Isaac Brinberg is currently pursuing a Masters of Music in Wind Conducting at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance, studying with Professors Steven D. Davis and Dr. Joseph Parisi. He serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Bands at the Conservatory and appearing as a guest conductor with the Conservatory Wind Symphony and Conservatory Wind Ensemble.
He is originally from the mountains of Blacksburg, Virginia, and holds his Bachelor of Music Education degree with a Minor in Wind Conducting from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, graduating with High Distinction. While at Indiana, Isaac studied tuba with Daniel Perantoni at Indiana University and pursued additional conducting studies with Dr. Eric Smedley and Dr. Jeff Gershman.
Isaac has a passion for breaking conventions as a conductor, collaborator, and performer, bringing all artistic media together in new venues to create meaningful experiences in new venues for a broad audience.
